Horse Trainer's & Equine Professional's

Kira Pearce
Founder & CEO

Having ten plus years of equine experience Kira founded PTQH in 2019 after training younger horses from 4 months to 3 years old. Working her way of gentling a horse slowly from in-hand, to in-hand with a saddle, to then working on getting on and working the basic gates to set a foundation to establish barrels and gaming training.  Slowly growing to then accept client horses, buy training projects to move to forever homes.

Kira has owned horses her whole life, practically riding before walking. Having many amazing family members to support with guidance from their own personal experience with horses.

Nobody knows everything! That's 100% ok, we believe in asking questions and looking at different methods when ours don't work. There are so many different methods to train a horse, not every horse can thrive under the same method.

Tierney Grinnell
Manager

Joining in 2023 Tierney has 12 years of experience. Starting with the basics at an eventing farm before advancing to focus on the hunter discipline Tierney has mainly worked with young horses with retraining into calm, bombproof hubby & kid safe horses.

In the past 2 years Tierney's experience expanded into western where she currently took a confidence break to ride and work with 2 amazing draft horses whom she learnt and taught herself to work past issues with a completely different mindset.

Focusing now with working alongside Kira at PTQH with western games and gentling horses she hopes to bring in a new and unique discipline for you all - Mounted Archery. Having started with no experience in archery (Herself or her horses) She worked with them to expose them to the equipment and slowly has learnt how to share this knowledge with a coach.
